About the Therapist

Rachel started practicing massage in 1996 after qualifying in Intuitive Therapeutic Massage at the Bodywise school in London, and many years of attending a variety of therapeutic workshops and personal exploration. Her prior training also included Voice Movement Therapy, which combines the use of the singing voice with psychotherapy, movement and massage.

She went on to qualify in Reflexology at the School of Complementary Therapies in Exeter in 1997 and in Tui Na Medical massage and sports injury massage at Bodyharmonics in Cheltenham in 1999. In 2013 she qualified in with the Bi-Aura Foundation, and in 2014, added a Certificate in Counselling, from the Iron Mill College in Exeter.

Rachel’s background and experience have led her to a particular interest in the way that our emotional, spiritual and physical wellbeing are integrated with both our energetic and physical systems, and her work combines an understanding of the body and mind on physical, energetic and spiritual levels. In addition to running and developing her client practice since 1996, she has also run workshops and taught massage and relaxation to adults including those with disabilities.

Rachel welcomes all clients including those from the LGBTQ+ community.
